Grant Klevgaard, Press

Grant's love for movies began when his godmother brought him to the theater to see Monster's Inc. when he was three-and-a-half years old. He has loved movies ever since.

Grant graduated from Concordia College in 2021 with his bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with minors in Film Studies and Multimedia Journalism and from NDSU in 2023 with his master's in Communication Studies, where he made studying ideology in film the primary focus of his master's studies. While at Concordia, he had the opportunity to create the documentary short Kaz, which told the story of Donna Kaz and the Guerilla Girls protest movement that fought against gender inequality in the arts in New York.

Grant has enjoyed talking about films any way he can, whether in print, on video, or over a bucket of popcorn. He has a Substack page where he writes about movies in his spare time and has had some of his work published in Vague Visages. Along with writing about movies that interest him, Grant enjoys collecting physical media of his favorite films and listening to as many podcasts about cinema as he can.
