With members of varying backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, the North Dakota Film Society seeks to celebrate the diversity in film while also acknowledging the masterpieces that make this art form supreme.

The society convenes every five years to nominate the films it considers the “greatest films ever made.” The current list was created in 2020.
