Drew Swenson,
Filmmaker

Drew Swenson grew up in the Fargo-Moorhead area with an early love for movies and music. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin — Steven’s Point with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Media Production.

After graduating, he moved to NYC where he worked as a freelance videographer and photographer as well as a personal assistant to actress Martha Plimpton.

Currently, Drew heads production at Be More Colorful, a Virtual Reality Production studio. Mostly working with 360° media, Drew has helped develop a product called CareerViewXR, a library of content that allows a glimpse into the day-in-the-life of high-demand careers, through VR. Over the next year and a half, he will help produce over 40 new experiences, from various careers, that students will explore all across the country.

In his personal work he has produced experimental films, podcasts, music, 3D Printed Polaroids, 3D Printed 360° Images, and more.
