Matt is a founding member of the North Dakota Film Society and organizing member of the Fargo Film Festival. Weekly, Matt reviews the latest films on Prairie Public’s “Main Street” radio program.

Since 2001, Matt has produced several documentary films for Prairie Public and, throughout the year, celebrates film by hosting free-to-the-public exhibition series at the Fargo Public Library.

He is a scholar on all-things Academy Awards, including keeping an ongoing list of his own personal preferences from each year of cinema history. Matt also keeps a robust film collection, currently counting over 4,000 titles among his shelves.
