‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’ Leads Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards Noms

IATSE Local 706 has announced the nominations for the 2021 Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards. “Bill & Ted Face the Music”, the long-awaited third film in the “Bill & Ted” franchise, earned four nominations, the most of any film. “Hillbilly Elegy” and “Mulan” followed with three nominations each.

Of the films nominated, “Hillbilly Elegy”, “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”, and “Mank” are also shortlisted for Oscar consideration in the Makeup and Hairstyling category.

The winners of the Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards will be announced during a virtual ceremony on April 3, 2021.
