5th Annual North Dakota Film Society Awards Dates

The 5th annual North Dakota Film Society Awards will be announced in January following a whirlwind year of cinematic highs and lows.

As North Dakota’s sole film awards season voting body, the North Dakota Film Society prides itself on celebrating cinema’s best with its annual awards. In years past, the group has not only awarded eventual Academy Award winners, but also fêted films, performances and creative artists bubbling under the radar. To be eligible for this year’s NDFS Awards, a film must be released in at least one cinema in North Dakota, be released onto a major streaming format or be offered to NDFS members to screen for consideration between January 1, 2023, and December 31, 2023.

5th NDFS Awards Dates:

January 1, 2024: Nomination voting begins.

January 5, 2024: Nomination voting ends.

January 8, 2024: Nominations for the 5th NDFS Awards are announced.

January 8, 2024: Final round of voting begins.

January 12, 2024: Final round of voting ends.

January 15, 2024: Winners of the 5th NDFS Awards are announced.
