Fargo Docs Brings the Art of Film to the Community

Fargo Docs, a new documentary film series presented by Tellwell Story Co. + Studio, lights up the historic Fargo Theatre with its first season of programming beginning April 13. Fargo Docs is championing the art of film to raise awareness, challenge perspectives, and inspire audiences by making highly-regarded documentaries accessible to the Fargo community.

Each film screens at 7:00 p.m. at the Fargo Theatre. Tickets are available at the Fargo Theatre or online.

Kurt Vonnegut: Unstuck in Time

SYNOPSIS: Recounting the extraordinary life of author Kurt Vonnegut, and the 25-year friendship with the filmmaker who set out to document it.

Directed by Robert B. Weide and Don Argott; 2021

Winner of the Hoosier Award and the IFJA Award for Best Documentary by the Indiana Film Journalists Association.

Unbranded

SYNOPSIS: Unbranded follows four men and sixteen mustangs on an epic 3,000-mile journey from Mexico to Canada through the American West to inspire adoptions for the 50,000 wild horses and burros in government captivity.

Man on Wire

SYNOPSIS: A look at tightrope walker Philippe Petit's daring, but illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City's World Trade Center's twin towers in 1974, what some consider, "the artistic crime of the century".
