Casting Call: Glasser Images Short Film
BY SCOTTIE KNOLLIN
North Dakota-based production group Glasser Images was recently chosen by the North Dakota Department of Commerce to produce a series of short films showcasing the people and geographical beauty of North Dakota.
In late July, Glasser Images will film a total of three short films in Fargo, Bismarck, and Medora. One follows a high school girl attempting to break a state track record. One follows a traveling polka band’s roadie. And, one gives the spotlight to a dad and his family on a camping trip in the Badlands.
Filming is set to take place 2-3 days in each location between July 21st and July 30th. Actors must be available for all days of shooting. Due to COVID-19, production will limit the number of actors and crew to only those that are essential for the project.
Interested in performing? Male and female actors, ages 16+, are to submit a 1-minute monologue video recording to 2020NDFilmAuditions@glasserimages.com, including first and last name, city of residence, and the most reliable phone number. When picking a monologue, consider the mood of the project: lighthearted and free-spirited.
Actors filling principle roles will be paid.
Video submission must be received by June 5, 2020.
