Filmmaker Paul Brenno Celebrates Award-Winning Year

Paul Brenno, filmmaker and founding member of North Dakota Film Society, has amassed a number of nominations and awards for his work throughout 2019. Brenno, based in Minot, North Dakota, honed both his directing and cinematography skills in 2019 while producing short films, commercials, and even his first feature-length documentary.
The latter project found him filming in North Dakota, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and Colorado.
Brenno joined the Air Force in 1989 before studying film in Montana. His career has taken him across the country and his works have been featured in a swath of film festivals around the world. In fact, already in 2020, Brenno is celebrating his film, Noble Inc: 10 Years, as an in-competition selection for the Indie Shorts Awards in Los Angeles. The film qualifies for Best Director, Best Editing, and Best Documentary Short awards.
