Winners: 33rd European Film Awards

Thomas Vinterberg’s “Another Round” won three major categories at this weekend’s 33rd European Film Awards,including Best Film and Best Actor for its star, Mads Mikkelsen. The crowd-pleaser is the Danish entry for the Best International Feature Academy Award and is currently considered the frontrunner. Mikkelsen is also expected to continue earning nominations and wins this awards season for his work as an alcoholic high school teacher.

The 33rd European Film Awards were celebrated in a virtual ceremony from Berlin.
