4th North Dakota Film Society Awards Dates Confirmed

The 4th annual North Dakota Film Society Awards will be announced in January following a year of exciting, if not divisive, new releases.

As North Dakota’s sole awards season voting body, the North Dakota Film Society prides itself on celebrating cinema’s best. In years past, the group has not only awarded eventual Academy Awards winners, but also feted films, performances, and creative artists under the radar. To be eligible for the NDFS Awards, a film must be released in at least one cinema in North Dakota, be released onto a major streaming format, or be offered to NDFS members to screen between January 1, 2022, and December 31, 2022.

4th NDFS Awards Dates:

January 1, 2023: Nomination voting begins.

January 6, 2023: Nomination voting ends.

January 9, 2023: Nominations for the 4th NDFS Awards are announced.

January 9, 2023: Final round of voting begins.

January 13, 2023: Final round of voting ends.

January 16, 2023: The winners of the 4th NDFS Awards are announced.
