Tellwell Presents FirstLink Film Festival and Competition

Research shows that 60-80 percent of young people tell a friend that they are thinking about suicide, but less than 25 percent of those friends go on to seek help for that person. Tellwell Story Co. + Studio has partnered with FirstLink to launch the inaugural “Silence Speaks Aloud” 2022 Film Festival and Competition.

High School and College students located in North Dakota or Minnesota are eligible to submit their 90 seconds to 5-minute films aligning with specified themes, which include Stand Up to Stress, You’re Not Alone, Speak Up to Save a Life, or Watch For the Warnings.

Eligible films can be submitted through April 15, 2022. All submissions will be judged April 16 to April 26, followed by the FirstLink Film Festival on April 28, 2022, at The Fargo Theatre. Cash prizes up to $1,000 are being offered to participating students.
