Winners: 5th Critics Choice Documentary Awards

The Critics Choice Association has unveiled the winners of the 5th Critics Choice Documentary Awards, which recognize the year’s finest achievements in documentaries released in theaters, on TV, and on major digital platforms.

Kirsten Johnson’s “Dick Johnson is Dead”, a documentary distributed by Netflix and currently available to stream, took the top prize. Johnson was also the recipient of the Best Director prize. Netflix earned six awards, the most of any studio.
